Stay Overnight at The Ashram

Life in The Ashram is unique. You can get a sense of it when you visit for a day, but when you stay for longer, you'll really feel it. Whether you live near or far, it's worth it to 'Make the Pilgrimage' to Shree Peetha Nilaya.

Guest Rooms

All of our guest rooms overlook fields, forest, and the valley below. Every room has huge windows that open for fresh air, and an outer door that leads either to a terrace or a balcony from which to enjoy the view.

Our decor is clean and simple, and all rooms are non-smoking rooms. Since we are a vegetarian/vegan facility, we also ask you not to bring any meat- or egg-containing foods into your room.

Requesting a Room

To get an idea of how busy The Ashram will be, check the calendar and see if there is a large event or a Country Week scheduled. (Country Weeks are where devotees come from all over the world on a special country-specific trip to The Ashram, so they are given first priority for overnight stays here. There may still be rooms available, but if no rooms are left, now you'll know why!)

Rooms are available for guests during event days and also non-event days. If you are interested in staying during an event, you must first register for your event. Once you get an email confirmation of your registration, you may request your room. Popular events fill up quickly, often months in advance, so please plan ahead.

Room Sharing

One of the delightful advantages of staying at The Ashram is the opportunity to meet like-minded people from all over the world; sharing accommodations is a great way to make new friends. Rooms are assigned on a 'first-come, first-served' basis, beginning 6 months in advance of the event. There are two types of rooms: a room with 4 or 5 beds (we call it a 5-bed room) and a 2-bed room. In general, guests are first booked into the 5-bed rooms. Women stay with women, and men stay with men, although families and couples are welcome to share a room.
