Shree Peetha Nilaya
This Sunday, The Ashram hosted its eagerly awaited Open Day, and visitors from all over the region came to enjoy the activities, food, music, and positive atmosphere of Shree Peetha Nilaya and its residents.
The open house day at The Ashram was again another great opportunity for visitors from the surrounding villages, Wiesdbaden and Frankfurt to come and explore our fast ashram lands.
More than 90 people made their way to experience the multitude of programs specifically prepared for them. Many of the first-time visitors were greatly effected by the relaxed and open atmosphere everyone reflected.
The beautiful sunny day started off with detailed guided tour through interior of the ashram spaces such as a majestic temple, hindu saint museum and Babaji Cave, the Art Studio, Bhakti Shop and so much more.
After the rich vegan lunch the guided tour continued to the outer locations of the ashram. From the Temples, to our large vegetable and flower gardens. Throughout, all participants could get a little more deeper inside on how our Ashram life works and functions spiritually as well as functionally and how we constantly strive to serve people and the environment better and better.
Some extra highlights of the afternoon were the daily opened Bhajan Cafe serving vegan-only delights and featured a Satsang with one of our local Swamis.
Especially the kids had an amazing time with face painting, special kids programs and henna tattoos.
Infomational talks were given throughout the day for whoever was interested in learning more about spiritual practices and meditation.
Surely one of the highlight of the day was the Kirtan concert by Bhakti Marga musicians in the afternoon.
