We know that your event is the focus of your being here. And yet, in-between sessions or after hours, our beautiful property and unique spaces can give your participants a chance to take a break and just relax and enjoy.
The Rose Garden

A lush flower garden with a bubbling fountain and a fabulous view of the valley below, the focal point of our Lakshmi Gardens is a great place for admiring Nature's beauty. The trellises provide cool shade on hot summer days, while the variety of flowers is truly a treat for the senses. In the evening, the Rose Garden is softly lit, making it the perfect place to unwind.
The Meditation Garden

Rich grass and a huge shade tree with a circular bench provides a special place to meditate. Set away from the activities of the main building, it offers a quiet sense of serenity that everyone can enjoy after a busy day.
The Back Lawn

Plenty of room to hold yoga classes, group games, or have a picnic. It also includes an intimate rose garden with a fish pond. The Dining Hall deck overlooks this space and is a popular place for meals and to observe any activities on the lawn.
The Parikrama Path

Our 'Parikrama Path' is an easy walking trail that encircles the property, giving your group a convenient way to stretch and get some fresh air and exercise between or after your meetings.
'Parikrama' is the tradition in India of moving clockwise around an object of devotion to show one's reverence and gratitude. Walking on our trail in quiet contemplation is a refreshing way to deepen the experience of reverence for all of life.
The Bhutabhrteshwarnath Mandir

The most beautiful Hindu temple in all of Europe is the home of over 100 wall paintings, teak carvings and sculpted reliefs, all done by talented artists from around the globe. Illustrating the life of Krishna, the Avatars as they appeared on Earth, and Hindu saints through time, the brightly coloured and jewelled ceiling beams and walls are a wonder to behold.
The deities on the altars throughout the temple are extraordinary, and people come from all over the world just to visit the Temple alone. In India, it is rare to be able to get up close to temple deities, but here everyone can easily see them and experience their quiet presence.
Hindu prayers with energetic music and singing are held in the morning and evening, while during the day, the open temple is available for anyone. Residents of The Ashram take shifts during the day for continuous chanting from 9:00 to 21:00.
Open hours: 07:00 – 21:15.
The Babaji Cave

Originally a bowling alley, this renovated space honours Mahavatar Babaji, a revered yogi of the Himalayas. It features a meditative bubbling stream and a dark cool interior where silent meditations can be done from 06:00 – 22:00.
The 'cave' is also the location of our Hindu Saint Museum, where an impressive collection of relics from Hindu saints can be found, some of which date back hundreds of years.
The Bhajan Café

A nice place to relax with a freshly-made coffee or chai, desserts, savoury items, energy drinks and more. Featuring raw and vegan options, the menu changes often, but includes fresh fruits, homemade desserts and pastries, fresh sandwiches, and high-quality juices.
In addition to our indoor Bhajan Cafe, there is now an outdoor Bhajan Cafe, which makes it perfect in the summer time to order cool drinks and desserts outside. You can enjoy a table in the sun or find a comfortable couch in the shade of the lounge area.
